Double, triple and multiple roles of a single actor is possible with camera trick, Robotics or with the latest 3d technology that can make unbelievable 3d characters. Sometimes, it’s not possible to make a lion or tiger to act, where the shot requires serious expressions or perfect body language for an animal. Then 3d is the only way to go.
It started with Jurassic Park and there are many such roles in Narnia, Harry Porter series, Lord of the rings etc. that used technology to bring back the extinct characters to life or golam kind of characters that played crucial role for the movie.
List goes on from hollywood movies to tollywood movies that has lot of 3d animals, 3d characters, 3d crowd multiplications etc that elevated the movie experience to an altogether different level.
Another great example is Richard Parker character in Life of Pie movie, which is completely developed in 3d. Congrats to the award winning Rythm and Hues studio, for the great effort being the 2nd god creating realistic characters using 3d technology.

While working with Northgate Technologies in the year 2007, i’m assigned with a 3d virtual world project called naviha. By then, Secondlife is a leading 3d virtual world market, which is an immediate reference for our project. I started researching on existing and upcoming game engines which slowly started shifting their focus from console platforms to casual game market. In the race, as a new entry Unity emerged as the killer with its features and affordability to develop casual games.
As my previous experience is more into media content development, i always see an opportunity with every new software tool and that curiosity lead me to build something for media with the help of RTR (for my convenience, i’m coining the shortcut RTR for Real Time Render word)technology. It ended up making my first video for a Local TV channel. Thanks to my boss for putting faith in me when i assured to deliver a complete 3d promo in just 4 days of it’s tight schedule for telecasting. It’s a great experience for me and my team. Greatness is not because we are part of a pixar movie, digital domain or atleast delivering a quality render. It’s being one of the first and part of a revolutionary technology that is going to redefine 3d technology.
In pursuit, we started a new division in Srushti…….and we did not miss a single tool that had a scope to be part of enhancing the quality of real time render technology Our aim at srushti is to deliver cinematic quality with RTR.
In the go, Unity’s adam shortfall excited me a lot taking RTR into a completely different position.
Within a short gap after adam’s awesomeness, it’s Mill’s – Chevrolet – The Human Race short film that kicked the commercial side of RTR. Unreal made it real. The team at Mill nailed it perfectly.
Super excited, when i watched the recent apple ARKit launch video. It opened doors for real time 3d integration. It’s babysteps transform to giant leaps capturing many markets that are associated with 3d…..stay glued to the technology updates to believe it yourself. There will be a big technology shift. The day is too close where a….

I like working on various kinds of design projects and always curious to know the way design impact on various kinds of applications. So, i left no stone in picking all the opportunities to enhance my skills. Spent most of my time in learning, working and researching on various design and animation technologies. Neither counted my work hours nor repented on losing weekends and vacations. Each project is a valuable experience for me.

With lot of curiosity, i continuously research and learn about the new happenings that transforms the future. But, now and then i question myself, Why i am into so many areas and why am i still learning like a kid ? A quick answer comes to my mind – “Confidence”. Learning always made me confident and it updates me on a constant basis. It always help me dealing clients and colleagues at work.
Spending long hours in work place or learning new technologies never made me sick. It makes me sick, when the project drags my time with a no scope for skill. I always prefer to be surrounded with a work environment which create scope for knowledge and skill. And i am into it. On a daily basis, i am involved in the exciting areas of Research, Conceptualisation, Games, Animation, VFX and Virtual Reality.

With over 20 years of experience in the creative industry, I have great expertise in the areas of print, digital, 3d and interactive. I have worked on a wide variety of projects that comprised of visual effects for movies, corporate videos, gaming and virtual reality.
My career started in the Print Media at an Ad Agency in Vijayawada, where I worked with local and national clients to deliver great advertising solutions. Later on, I moved to Hyderabad, and joined the VFX industry.
Over the next 10 years, I helped create vfx for more than 25 films in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and English. And more importantly, during this period I also got the chance to work on world class movies, tv shows and tv commercials. I later moved into Gaming and Virtual Reality, helping create compelling virtual worlds and games.
I foresee a future where all these individual mediums will merge and unify, offering a holistic experience across various devices and screens.
In 2012, I joined PixelSutra, a creative agency focused on creating great videos, games and interactive experiences. It is here that I think my diverse experience will see its true potential. It’s been a great experience so far and I look forward to scaling to great heights going forward.
